Changing Lives is done in Deeds Not Words
SPARTN was established in 2021 as the result of more than 25 years of private wildlife rehabilitation and consultation by our founder.
Our focus is to save the lives of innocent animals who have been improperly placed, neglected, abused and abandoned.
Tennessee is one of the few states that has very little governing regulation on the sales, ownership and trading of exotic animals. The need is enormous and the opportunity to make a difference is unmatched.
Our Mission
Primates are our closest ancestors, and unlike other animals, their emotional, physical, and mental well being is important to our own futures. Our focus is to provide a space of healing, hope and education to change the future. We believe that changing lives is done in Deeds Not Words. So we take daily action to rescue, rehabilitate and restore the life of small primates from across the United States.
“I’VE SPENT MY LIFE SPEAKING OUT ON BEHALF OF ANIMALS. AND THERE IS ONE ISSUE THAT STANDS OUT UNIQUELY AS ONE OF THE WORST THREATS TO THEIR SURVIVAL. THE ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE… WITHOUT DOING SOMETHING TODAY, WE COULD FACE A WORLD IN WHICH THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF SPECIES GO SILENT. NEVER TO RETURN. BUT THERE IS SOMETHING WE CAN DO TODAY, AND IT WILL TAKE ALL OF US WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE.”
